Works completed so far:
- 19km of fisheries walkover surveys completed on the Ottery and Kensey to identify EF sites, gravel cleaning sites, riparian habitat works and debris dams that may cause an issue.
- 14 Fully quantitative electrofishing surveys pre and post work sites and control sites on the Inny, Ottery, Kensey and Lyd.
- 36/60 gravel cleaning sites delivered on the Ottery and Kensey using a high pressure water pump.
- Site visits to Roadford to develop a plan and methodology for gravel introduction and sourcing of suitable clean gravels – plan for year 1 pilot introduction.
